Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Teacher on behalf of a friendly SEN school in Frome, with an immediate start. This SEN school caters for 50-60 pupils who have a range of learning difficulties including PMLD, SLD, Autism and associated difficulties.
As SEN Teacher, you will be delivering core subjects. Strong behaviour management skills are required and also the ability to approach each student with a level of respect and empathy. Class sizes are never larger than around 6 and you will also be supported by experienced mentors.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced SEN Teacher who has SEN experience and is used to keeping pupils engaged and progressing in their academics. The pupils you will be teaching have a variety of needs including SLD and Autism. In this role you will be teaching Key Stages 2 and 3 students with low behaviour issues. The schools has a great support system and the senior leaders are always open to new ideas.
All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
