Job description

SEN Teacher 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teacher to join our dedicated team at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) School in Burnley from January.

Location: Burnley
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary, starting January until the end of the academic year
Pay: Dependent on skills and experience

About the Role:
The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of pupils with a range of special educational needs. You will work closely with support staff and the wider school team to create a positive, inclusive learning environment where every pupil can thrive.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)

  • Strong understanding and experience of working with pupils with SEN

  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A commitment to fostering a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
