Are you a passionate, dedicated, and experienced SEN Teacher looking for a new opportunity in Gloucester? We are seeking a committed Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive team in Gloucestershire.
This is an exciting chance to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with a range of special educational needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), and other additional needs.
About the Role
- Deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to the individual needs of pupils with special educational needs.
- Support students with their academic, emotional, and social development.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Work closely with teaching assistants, SENCOs, therapists, and parents to provide a holistic approach to education.
- Contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Use creative teaching methods to engage pupils and help them achieve their full potential.
About You
We are looking for a qualified SEN Teacher with:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
- Experience working in special schools or mainstream schools with SEN provision.
- Strong understanding of SEND frameworks, strategies, and interventions.
- Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for working with children with additional needs.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to work as part of a team and contribute to the wider school community.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
