Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire
Salary: £160 – £200 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Full-time / Temporary / Part-time (potential for long-term or permanent placement)
Start Date: September 2025

A well-regarded specialist provision in Bradford is seeking a committed and experienced SEN Teacher to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs.

The Role:

You will be responsible for planning and delivering personalised lessons to students with a range of special educational needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, moderate learning difficulties (MLD), and SEMH (social, emotional and mental health) needs. You’ll work closely with support staff and senior leaders to create a nurturing, supportive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons in line with pupils’ EHCPs

  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

  • Track and report on student progress and adapt planning as needed

  • Collaborate with other staff members, external professionals, and families

  • Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching students with SEN in mainstream or specialist settings

  • Strong understanding of strategies for differentiation and behaviour management

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • A patient, resilient, and compassionate approach to teaching

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
