SEN Teacher – Make a Real Difference Every Day

Are you a passionate, patient and creative teacher who believes that every child deserves to feel seen, supported and capable?

We’re looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our nurturing and supportive team, where relationships matter just as much as results, and progress is measured in confidence as well as outcomes.

About the Role

As our SEN Teacher, you’ll work closely with pupils who have a range of special educational needs, tailoring learning to suit each individual and celebrating every small step forward. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that truly understands the challenges — and the rewards — of SEN education.

This is a role for someone who:

  • Sees potential where others see barriers

  • Values patience, empathy and consistency

  • Believes learning should be meaningful, engaging and accessible

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Planning and delivering creative, personalised lessons

  • Supporting pupils’ academic, emotional and social development

  • Working closely with teaching assistants, therapists and families

  • Creating a calm, safe and encouraging learning environment

  • Championing inclusion and celebrating progress in all its forms

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent

  • Experience working with SEN pupils (formal or informal)

  • A warm, resilient and adaptable approach

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine passion for making a difference

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
