Teaching Personnel are recruiting for the role of an SEN Teacher for a school in the Wigan borough. This is for a special provision facilitating for children aged 2-14 with ASC, SLD and PMLD. Students engagement has been impacted by the pandemic, so it's essential that effective lesson delivery is provided so they can catch up with their social, emotional and academic development.

 

Pay starts from £100 per day, with working hours being from 8:30am-3:30pm.

 

The position is temporary, but with a high probability of becoming permanent should you settle into the role well.

 

Main responsibilities will include:

 

  • Executing tailored lesson plans
  • Tailoring the curriculum to specific special educational needs
  • Engaging pupils to ensure they are on track with their development
  • Reporting back on performance to promote best practice

 

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

 

  • Teacher qualified
  • Previous SEN experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for the wellbeing of children with SEN

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
