SEN Primary Teacher: Trafford

Location: Trafford
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Start Date: Immediate and January

Are you confident, adaptable, and passionate about supporting pupils with moderate SEN needs such as autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties? We’re looking for an experienced SEN teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Trafford, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive in a positive learning environment.

What we’re looking for:

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – essential.
  • QTS Qualified – essential
  • Previous experience working in a school setting, ideally with SEN exposure.
  • A confident, proactive approach to managing classrooms and engaging learners.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons to students with varying needs and abilities
  • Supporting pupils with moderate SEN needs to access the curriculum effectively.
  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Fostering a safe, supportive and encouraging learning environment
  • Providing feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and engagement.
  • Collaborate with staff team, parents and external multi agencies to ensure that children’s welfare and wellbeing is met.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
