Passionate SEN Support Assistant Needed
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)
Location: Worcestershire
Start Date: September 2025 start
Pay Rate: Competitive, based on experience
We're looking for committed and experienced SEN Support Assistant to join a fantastic school in Worcestershire. We are looking for a Support Assistant who is committed to providing valuable support and care to a child living with complex needs. A calm and patient approach is imperative to this role, maintaining valuable reliable support to enhance a child’s school experience.
The Role:
- Supporting a pupil with challenging additional needs to aid their progression whilst ensuring comfort
- Providing 1:1 assistance, maintaining consistent daily routines; arrival & departure, break times, lesson involvement, tailored sessions and activities
- Helping with personal care (experience valued but not essential)
- Creating an inclusive, positive learning environment
- Working alongside teachers and SENCOs, tracking and reporting progress to other members of staff and parents

We're Looking For:
- Experience with ASD, ADHD, PMLD, SLD, SEMH, complex additional needs or Speech & Language
- Comfortable with personal care
- Patience, adaptability and a passion for SEN support – no direct education experience necessary, transferrable skills from a role in care, social work, nursing etc would also be considered
- Availability for full-time, ensuring reliability and consistency to a child’s life

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
