SEN Teaching Assistant – Evesham (WR11)
Location: Evesham, Worcestershire (WR11)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Full-Time

Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? Teaching Personnel are working closely with a caring and inclusive primary school in Evesham seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of special educational needs.
This rewarding role would suit someone with previous SEN experience or individuals looking to begin a career supporting children with additional needs. Schools in the Evesham area are continuing to recruit SEN support staff for September.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
- Assist children with Autism (ASC), ADHD, Speech & Language needs and SEMH.
- Help implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans.
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Work alongside the class teacher and SENCO to provide tailored support.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
- Experience working with children or young people (school, nursery, care or support work).
- A patient, caring and resilient approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
- Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
