SEN Specialist Graduate seeking to kick-start your career?

Do you have a real interest in Autism and a desire to work in a hands on role where you will gain further skills and experience?

Would you like to earn £250 - 300 per week as a SEN Teaching Assistant to really gain a deeper understanding of working in a Primary school?

If yes, then a HCC Specialist SEN Unit in Aldershot is looking for an able graduate to support the school as a SEN Teaching Assistant. This role will involve working 1:1 and in small groups with KS1 & KS2 pupils who have a range of SEN including Autism, Challenging Behaviour, Speech and Language. The successful candidate will support children aged between 4 - 11 years old, assisting with the organising, planning and preparation of lessons.

The school requires an ambitious graduate who has obtained a 2:1 or above in their degree, having covered modules in SEN and ideally Autism. You must have experience working with children on the autistic spectrum, however it does not need to have been in a school setting. Any previous training in this field will be useful e.g. safeguarding, Team Teach, although this is not essential, as long as you are willing to partake in necessary training.
