SEN Primary Teacher

Pay: GBP140- GBP190 daily rate on PAYE Scheme

Job Type: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent contract

SEN experience: 1 year minimum experience teaching with special educational needs

We are recruiting for a full time primary SEN class teacher to join a ‘Good’ rated special school in Enfield for September 2020. The National Autistic Society accredits the school and the school has supported the education of autistic children for over 50 years. The school has small classes with around 6-8 children per class, staff support is high with a 1:1 ratio in most classrooms. The school promote a child-centred approach to learning, and therapy is provided by senior leadership team on site and external Occupational Therapy staff.

SEN Teacher specification:

• At least 1 years experience teaching children with special educational needs
• Able to plan and deliver differentiated lessons for various special needs
• KS1-KS2 teaching experience and knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Can commit to travelling to Enfield daily
• Teacher who is looking to commit to a long term teaching post
