We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and specialist primary SEN school in Bury. This is a rewarding opportunity for a teacher who is committed to inclusive education and passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.

We pride ourselves on creating a nurturing, engaging, and child-centred environment where every pupil is encouraged to develop confidence, independence, and a love of learning.

This is a school where creativity, patience, and compassion are valued just as highly as academic outcomes.

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Is passionate about inclusive and child-centred education
  • Has experience working with SEN pupils, either in specialist or mainstream settings
  • Builds strong, positive relationships with children and families
  • Is patient, adaptable, and resilient
  • Can create engaging learning experiences tailored to individual needs
  • Works collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Has a genuine desire to help every child achieve their potential

Desirable Experience

  • Teaching pupils with Autism or complex needs
  • Knowledge of sensory and communication strategies
  • Experience with EHCPs and personalised learning plans
  • Team Teach or positive behaviour support training
  • Understanding of trauma-informed practice

What We Offer

  • A supportive and experienced leadership team
  • Excellent SEN-focused CPD and training opportunities

  • Opportunities for career progression and development
  • A collaborative and caring school culture
  • Wellbeing support and staff recognition initiatives
  • The chance to be part of a school that truly changes lives
