This is an exciting opportunity for someone to support pupils with SEN aged 11-16.

• Have experience working with children and young people with SEN

• Remain calm in stressful situations
• Show a genuine interest of working with children and young people

The school is located in Ashington and currently has over 1200 pupils on roll. Students are well behaved and the school prides it self on its inclusive and caring atmosphere. This combined with the SLT's continued commitment to the performing arts, sports and a wealth of extra-curriculars ensures all learners are fully supported and challenged to achieve their potential.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will support students in class across the subject areas, and deliver targeted interventions to students on a 1:1 basis during lessons and break times. The School would also like a Learning Support Assistant to work in the Alternate Provision department within the school.
