Position Overview: As a SEN Learning Support Assistant in the Callington area, working with Teaching Personnel, you will play a crucial role in providing personalized assistance to students with diverse learning needs. Your responsibilities will include:

Individualized Support: Work closely with students in the Callington area, understanding their unique learning styles and needs to provide tailored support.

Collaborative Approach: Collaborate with teachers and other professionals in the Callington community, to develop and implement effective strategies for academic and social development.

Inclusive Environment: Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere, ensuring that every student feels valued and supported in their learning journey.

Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and monitor students' progress, adjusting support strategies as needed to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Passion for working with students with SEN
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet individual student needs
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in SEN support (desired)
  • Up to date DBS certificate on the update service (or be willing to complete a new one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
