SEN ICT Teacher

Are you passionate about Teaching Science?

We are currently recruiting for a ICT Teacher to work within our small SEN School in Hythe. You will be working with a small group of pupils who have high functioning Autism and Aspergers. You will be teaching ICT up to GCSE level, however we have another ICT teacher onsite who can cover GCSE elements on ICT for a teacher less confident in this aspect of the curriculum. 

We are looking for teachers who are passionate about adapting education to meet all young peoples needs and goals. 

The role involves:

• Working alongside the staff within the school to provide a tailored education to your pupils
• Working with the Teaching Assistants in your class to provide the best support possible to pupils
• Communicating with multi disclinary teams to tailor your approach to the pupils needs
• Thinking outside the box to help pupils achieve and improve academically as well as socially

We are looking for:

• A committed class teacher confident in teaching ICT to secondary pupils
• A resilient personality who can cope with set backs with pupils
• A strong communicator
• A fun and bubbly teacher 
• No experience with SEN pupils required, we can support you with this

You will be rewarded with seeing your pupils achieve things you never thought possible, we will support you in your journey as a teacher to improve your skills and develop and a teacher, via CPD and support from an experienced SLT. 

Pay in line with skills and experience. This role is a full time permanent vacancy to start in September.
