Teaching Personnel is supporting a variety of mainstream schools. Many of these schools contain outstanding SEN facilities supporting children with educational needs such as PMLD, ASD and Complex. We are looking for candidates available to start in September 2017. This role is supporting all learners to access the curriculum under the instruction of teachers, therapists and managerial staff. Duties are to include: Ensure the safety, mobility, hygiene and wellbeing of learners within manual handling guidelines. Support inclusion the classroom, ensuring all learners feel involved with tasks and activities. Provide high standards to the children. Act as a link worker to learners, supporting and advocating on their behalf. Encourage independence, encouraging learners to fulfill their individual potential, promoting self-esteem. Prepare, maintain and use equipment/resources required to meet the lesson plans as set by the teacher. Support and be aware of learners learning in the wider curriculum. This may include medical interventions training as required.
