In this Special Needs Teaching Assistant role you will be required to support a secondary aged children on the Autistic Spectrum. The children display very challenging behaviour, therefore, as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant it is your responsibility to maintain the child both in and out of class and ensure that he is engaging and taking part in lessons at all times.
The Schools we work in partnership with look for skilled individuals who can hit the ground running, show enthusiasm, commitment and have a passion for the role that they are doing. With schools having diverse pupil needs and varying abilities it is important for the candidate to flexible and adaptable as they will be placed in a number of classes to support where needed.
