Teaching Personnel are the leading specialist educational recruiters in the UK, our specialist SEN branch in Northampton are working closely with schools to find teaching assistants with a passion for helping those with special educational needs such as Autism and Learning Difficulties.

Having experience within a school setting is a bonus, but not essential as if you have experience in social care or support work then these skills are transferrable. Your role as a teaching assistant will include working with Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC/ASD), SEMH (Social Emotional and Mental Health) or MLD / SLD (Moderate to Severe Learning Difficulties). All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
