Teaching Assistant required - Northumberland

Teaching Personnel are increasing our support staff to cover the growing volume of day-to-day, long/short term sickness, Maternity/Paternity cover and course cover bookings that we have in Northumberland schools. You will work in a number of schools in and around the Northumberland area and have the ability to choose to work from 1-5 days a week.

The role includes:

- Assisting the teacher with daily classroom activities

- Supervising the classroom when delegated from the classroom teacher

- Providing encouragement to students who need extra educational support

The role will be suitable for graduates who are considering a career in education. The experience gained whilst providing classroom support is a great way to develop skills needed in any possible future role in education.
