SEN Teaching Assistant **Greater Manchester**

Teaching personnel are heavily recruiting for a number of long term positions which will be starting in September in Special Schools across Greater Manchester

The roles are long term/temporary to permanent roles which we are looking to secure staff for. A registration process at our Manchester City Centre office will need to be carried out.

SEN Teaching Assistant in Special Need Primary/Secondary/Colleges and Pupil Referral Units

Various Locations around the Greater Manchester Area

Various shift work - Must be flexible from Mon-Fri

Immediate starts available

These roles involve working on a one to one basis with children with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), Challenging behaviour and complex medical needs. The students are between the ages of 4 and 25 and there would be some aspects of personal care involved. To be suitable for this role you need to have had previous experience working with Autism, Downs’s syndrome, PMLD and complex needs.

Teaching Personnel is dedicated to recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a collection of schools that caters for children with Emotional, Social and Mental Health difficulties (behavioural).

These roles are perfect for enthusiastic, driven and creative candidates with previous experience of working with children or young people with severe behavioural and mental health problems. Ideally they will have the Team Teach qualification and be able to support children through Key Stages.
