Are you an aspiring graduate looking for routes into teaching and kick starting your career in education?

A 'GOOD' school in Manchester (M11) are actively seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated and hard-working KS1 team. You will work with identified pupils with EBD (emotional behavioural disorder) on both a 1:1 basis and with small groups and will contribute towards creating a purposeful learning environment by supporting classroom teachers in teaching and learning.

The ideal candidate will have some experience of working with SEN and will have outstanding inter-personal skills. To be considered you be patient and sensitive with the ability to encourage and motivate children as well as being able to work effectively in a team. Experience of working with EBD would be advantageous.

The ideal candidate will,

- Be a recent graduate looking to begin a career in education

- Have recent experience working with children

- Be enthusiastic about inspiring young learners

This post will start after February Half Term and will run until the end of the academic year. The opportunity for a school based contract could be possible for the right candidate.
