SEN Cover Supervisor

Location: Eastleigh, Hampshire
Pay: From £110 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Temporary (with potential to become permanent)
Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Secondary SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Eastleigh who are seeking a confident and adaptable Cover Supervisor to join their team as soon as possible.
This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting young people and an understanding of the UK curriculum, who can manage behaviour positively and keep students engaged in their learning.
The Role:
- Covering classes in the absence of the teacher across a range of subjects.
- Delivering pre-prepared lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Supporting students with SEMH needs and helping them achieve their learning goals.
- Building strong, supportive relationships with students and staff.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience working with children or young people, ideally within an SEMH or secondary setting.
- Understands the UK curriculum and classroom expectations.
- Demonstrates strong communication and behaviour management skills.
- Is patient, resilient, and genuinely passionate about supporting young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
