SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant (Autism) - Year 4 (FY4)

Are you searching for a fulfilling role where you can truly make a positive impact on the life of a Year 4 student with SEN? 

Teaching Personnel is proud to recruit for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant for a student with Autism who requires additional support in learning and cognition.

The school, located in South Shore, Blackpool, has been highly praised for its supportive environment and staff.

About the Role:

- Working one-on-one with a student on an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) to provide support in a mainstream classroom

- Ensuring the child's engagement in the mainstream Primary curriculum

- Collaborating with the SENCO and class teacher to ensure progress is being made in the classroom

- Supporting with social development, outside of the classroom

About you:

- Compassionate, caring and understanding, with a genuine love for learning

- Patient and nurturing, for when the child struggles in class

- Experienced working with children, or people with an SEN

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
