SEMH Tutor Available: North Oxfordshire Based
Specialist tuition for learners with Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Are you seeking a calm, compassionate, and experienced tutor to support a student struggling with confidence, emotional wellbeing, or access to learning?
Based in North Oxfordshire, TP-Tutors provide high-quality, tailored Maths and English tuition for students from Early Years (EYFS) to Post-16, with a specialist focus on those with SEMH needs, including:
- Anxiety
- Low self-confidence
- Low self-esteem
- Emotional regulation challenges
- Barriers to school engagement
About Me:
-
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a minimum of 3 years’ tutoring experience

Experienced in working with students with SEND, EHCPs, and additional behavioural or mental health needs

Skilled in supporting both re-engagement with education and academic catch-up

Location & Delivery:

Based in Brackley, covering surrounding areas

Tuition available in person (home or agreed setting) or online

Flexible scheduling to meet the needs of families and young people
Fees:
£20–£30 per hour, depending on level, setting, and support required.
Block bookings and long-term placements welcomed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
