We are currently seeking teaching assistants in the Bournemouth area to support young people who are secondary aged and have been excluded from mainstream school.
The pupils are unable or refuse to attend mainstream school so are being taught in their homes or local libraries. The support will involve helping the pupils with the work they need to complete and providing support with this work. You may be required to support the pupil in other settings that they choose to attend or educational programmes.
Essential Skills:
-Drive and access to a car
-GCSE English and Maths
- 3-6 months experience working with children
Desired Skills:
-Knowledge of SEN or behavioural difficulties
-Team Teach Training
-Experience in a school setting
