Are you a Teaching Assistant/Youth Worker seeking a position in the Preston area?
If so, Teaching Personnel work closely with a Preston based Pupil Referral Unit who requires a Behaviour Support Assistant to work with their challenging pupils. The School is smaller than average and caters for KS3/4 pupils who often have behavioural difficulties, ADHD and/or social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
The School is based in close proximity to Preston and is accessible via public transport and has ample parking on site. The School have approximately 60 pupils on role but most class sizes are less than 12 pupils and most of the students are supported on a 1:1 or 2:1 basis.
The candidate must have experience working with pupils who display challenging behaviours and the candidate will ideally hold the team teach qualification - however, this is not essential. The candidate must be hard working, confident and able to work on a supply basis initially.
The successful candidate will benefit from:
