SEMH Teaching Assistant – Part-Time (Primary & Secondary)
YSeptember 2025 Start | Term-Time
Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs and mental health challenges?
We have a part-time opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to work across a group of specialist schools and colleges in Yeovil, supporting students aged 3 to 19 with SEN, SEMH, and complex learning needs.
There is flexibility for a full-time start, and working hours are 8.30am – 4pm, Monday to Friday, during term time.

Who We’re Looking For:
You’ll be a great fit if you:

Have experience supporting SEN or SEMH learners (school, care, or youth settings)

Are calm, patient, and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills

Can build trusting relationships and offer consistent encouragement

Are adaptable, reliable, and ready to work across different key stages and needs

Hold relevant qualifications or experience (desirable, not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
