SEMH Teaching Assistant – Support Pupils Across Primary & Secondary
Wimborne & Surrounding Areas | Part-Time (with Full-Time Potential) | September 2025 Start

Are you passionate about making a difference to young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?

We are recruiting a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to support learners aged 3 to 19 across a group of highly respected specialist schools in the Wimborne area.

This role is part-time with the flexibility to start earlier and the potential to increase to full-time hours. Working hours are 8.30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday during term time.

Your Role as SEMH Teaching Assistant

You will play a vital role in supporting pupils in their learning and emotional wellbeing.

Your responsibilities will include delivering targeted support, helping to manage behaviour, fostering positive relationships, and working closely with teachers and specialists to adapt activities to individual needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
