SEN Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant required in Sutton

  • Small class sizes with the chance to make a real impact on the attainment of pupils
  • Supportive SLT and a school with a real community feel
  • Use of gym, music room and training offered to all staff

An all through "Good" SEN school in Sutton that caters for social, emotional and behavioural difficulties and is looking to recruit Teaching Assistants for immediate start. The school is located near Morden station in an adapted building with excellent facilities and their own playing fields and gym. The school offers pupils a positive and diverse learning experience and staff extensive training and use of their gyms and a music room.

In this role you will be working in either Primary or Secondary based on your experience and you will have the opportunity to gain more knowledge and awareness of different therapies and approaches for working with people who have SEMH needs. This post will require1:1 and small group work supporting pupils with tailored work set to their learning abilities. As an SEN Teaching Assistant supporting young children with SEMH, you must be able to demonstrate your ability to communicate clearly. This is a great opportunity to work with some of the most inspiring people in education and to be part of school with a real community feel run by a supoortive SLT.
