Behavioural Support Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit four experienced Teaching Assistants with behavioural support background. The successful candidates will be working on a one to one basis with varied aged pupil’s who require extra support due to behavioural problems. The role is full time starting in January in one of our partner schools just outside Oldham Manchester.

The school is easily accessible from the M60/M62 and local bus routes from the city centre, making the school easily commutable.

Our client is a busy and friendly two form primary school, with a warm and welcoming ethos which is recognised by all who visit. In OFSTED’s most recent visit the school was awarded ‘good’.

“the school provides excellent care, guidance and support for pupils’ well-being”.

Teach Trained candidates are required but non Teach Trained applicants can receive this qualification using Teaching Personal’s in house training.

Teaching Personnel work in partnership with a variety of leading, nationally recognised CPD providers, such as National Association of SEN, National Autistic Society, Rush Miskin, Team Teach, Educare, Creative Education, St Patrick’s RC High School and Leeds Trinity University. These partners deliver an extensive range of career developing opportunities to you, covering areas such as; Accredited Team Teach, Understanding and Supporting Children and Adults on the Autism Spectrum, An Introduction to Special Educational Needs and Disability, Effective Adult Learning Support, Implications for Challenging Behaviour, Meeting the Emotional, Social and Mental Health Needs of Children and Young People, Differentiation, Data Handling, Assessment for Learning, Planning for Progression, Prevent Duty, Read Write Inc. and Child Protection in Education.
