Title: Secondary SEMH Teaching Assistant
Teaching Personnel are looking for motivated and enthusiastic people to work in a thriving Hull secondary school as a SEMH Teaching Assistant. Helping teachers by supervising activities and working with children on an individual and more focused basis. If you are a recent graduate and are looking to enter the world of teaching in a supportive working environment this may be the role for you.
The role itself focuses on:
• create a sense of safety through routines and emotional support to ensure that all the Special Educational needs of the students are met
•Offering support to both allocated students and staff
•To help with students with their needs by supporting them, whilst keeping lessons running smoothly
The successful candidate will be flexible, driven and have a genuine desire to work in the education sector, whilst also being resilient and understanding to be considered for any of the above roles then you would be required to hold a valid DBS certificate or willing to get one that is registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one upon consideration for the role. Any extra understanding or previous experience held helping SEMH in the past would also be desired.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
