SEMH Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a Primary SEMH School in South-East London (Greenwich). As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher and ensuring a positive learning environment for students.

This position requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be interacting with students, teachers, and parents daily.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the classroom teacher with lesson preparation and materials organization.

• Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional help or guidance.

• Collaborate with the teacher to develop and implement lesson plans.

• Assess student progress and provide feedback to the teacher and parents.

• Support students with special needs, implementing accommodations and modifications as required.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
