SEMH Teaching Assistant
Blandford Forum | September 2025 Start| Term-Time 

Do you have a passion for supporting children and young people with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs?

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to work across a group of specialist educational settings in Blandford Forum, offering a supportive and tailored approach to students aged 3 to 19.

This part-time role begins in September 2025, with potential to start earlier. Flexibility is available for full-time capacity, with working hours of 8.30am – 4pm, Monday to Friday during term time.

Both primary and secondary placements are available.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Have experience working with young people with SEMH, autism, or behavioural needs

  • Be calm, compassionate, and confident in building trusting relationships

  • Be able to adapt and respond to a variety of student needs

  • Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

  • Hold experience or qualifications relevant to SEN (desirable but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
