A fantastic Special School in Crawley is currently looking for a Teacher to join their team in January 2020. They are a Social, Emotional and Mental Health specialist School with children ranging from Primary to Secondary students. The school is highly focused on the sensory, emotional, mental and learning needs of all of their students, ensuring that each and every student receives the care and attention that makes the difference in them reaching their maximum potential.
The teacher would be teaching Middle years class with high needs. This class caters to children with severe autism and some challenging behaviour so individuals with experience with this are highly desirable, or those with Team Teach training.

Applicants who have experience working with children with SEN and speech and language difficulties using Makaton, PECS or BSL are highly desirable.
This role would begin Jan 2020 until at least the end of the Easter term with the possibility of a permanent contract.
The ideal candidate:
- Will be available full-time from January 2020
- Have Full Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Have experience working with Autism and Speech and Language Difficulties.
- Have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
The school are looking to see people sooner rather than later, so please feel free to contact me on the number below to find out more.
