SEMH Teacher

Exciting role in Wisbech for a FQT with experience working with pupils with SEN or SEMH

• Work with small groups of pupils at a time (6-10)

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for an exciting new project in the Wisbech area. This project has been set up by an incredible Head Teacher with vision to support pupils that struggle to succeed in mainstream education due to a number of reasons such as SEN, SEMH and disadvantaged backgrounds. The project is funded by a superb Academy from London that has successfully set up a similar project before.

The team will be based in a school and the pupils, along with their own TAs will come to the base once a week. You will be supporting them with learning, behaviour and managing their emotions. The main objective of this project is to work with pupils with SEN or SEMH that are at risk of exclusion, give advice and a plan to the Teaching Assistants so they are proactive in supporting the pupil back at their own school, prepare the pupil for a mainstream (in class) setting and report to the SLT on the progress.

To apply you must have SEN experience, Teachers must have experience planning and delivering lessons for all primary key stages. All staff must have their own transport as you may have to drive to different sites.
