Here at Teaching Personnel, we are recruiting specialist SEN Teaching assistants for a SEN school based in Ealing. This school focuses on SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health). As a teaching assistant you will be working with the teacher to ensure a supportive and safe environment is being maintained for the pupils’ educational development. 

The role involves: 

  • Supporting pupils inside and outside of the classroom. 

  • Aiding pupils in their transitions through their school years. 

  • Help pupils build confidence and self-esteem. 

  • Use creative ways to engage the pupils 

  • Working 1:1/in small groups for interventions. 

  • Competitve salary GBP65-GBP75 (depending upon experience) 

This school supports 11-18-year-old students with Education, Health Care Plans (EHCP) for SEMH. This school placements can offer:

As an agency, we work with several schools and specialist provisions that are looking for learning mentors to support pupils. Ideally, you would have experience with working with young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
