Position: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Lancaster, Lancashire
School: 11-16 SEMH School
Type: Temp to Perm
Hours: Full Time, Monday - Friday, Term Time Only

The Role: As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our students' educational and emotional needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting teachers in delivering tailored learning activities.
- Providing one-on-one support to students with SEMH needs.
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Supporting students in developing coping strategies and resilience.
- Working closely with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure each student’s well-being and progress.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs is desirable.
- A compassionate and patient nature, with excellent communication skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
