£90–£110/day | Full-Time | Long-Term | Temp-to-Perm

We are seeking a SEMH Lead to join a nurturing SEMH school in Wakefield. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping pupils overcome barriers to learning through emotional, behavioural, and social support.

Responsibilities:

• Support pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs, both in and out of the classroom.

• Develop trusting relationships and provide pastoral mentoring.

• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral leads.

• Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies.

You’ll Need:

• Experience in youth work, education, or care settings.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

• Team Teach training desirable but not essential.

• Empathy, patience, and resilience!
