Are you a qualified TA or HLTA looking for a new role in Newcastle upon Tyne?
Teaching Personnel is currently looking for qualified HLTA's and TA's to work in our partnership secondary schools in the new academic year. we have a number of potential roles, with many giving opportunities for permanent work.
We at Teaching Personnel offer a personalised tutoring service to help schools increase pupil attainment. We call these our intervention programmes and each of these has been designed to help pupils reach their full potential. As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work with a number of different groups in a number of different roles, providing help and support to children who have behavioural difficulties.
With the current lockdown, this will have a significant knock on effect on pupils within secondary schools going forward. Support in the new year will be required more than ever and we expect a variety of roles for you to choose from.
Main responsibilities include:
- Working alongside staff/classroom teachers and SM to reduce levels of unauthorised absence and improve levels of attendance and behaviour
- Motivating students with behavioural difficulties
- Undertaking structured and agreed Individualised education programmes, including small group work
- Providing teacher’s with feedback on the children’s development
- Potentially covering in-house teachers lessons where required, managing the classroom briefly

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
