Teaching Personnel are excited to be seeking an engaging Teaching Assistant, with a passion for pupil learning and development at a well-established school in Huntingdon.  This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming secondary school in Cambridgeshire, with the possibility to earn a permanent contract through an introduction by Teaching Personnel.

As a Teaching Assistant at this friendly school, you will be responsible for providing ongoing support to GCSE students. You will support with the preparation and delivery of lessons as well as leading specific smaller group work and 1:1 sessions.

The Successful Applicant Will:

  • Be motivated to inspire and encourage secondary-aged pupils.
  • Have excellent communication skills.
  • Be confident in managing the behaviour of pupils aged 11-16 years.
  • Have good knowledge of the GCSE curriculum.
