Secondary Teachers Required

Job Duties:
- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons for secondary school students
- Assess and evaluate students' progress to provide feedback and support their learning development
- Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practises and contribute to the school's overall educational goals
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Degree in Education or relevant subject
- Enhanced DBS check
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
Experience:
Previous experience teaching in a secondary school setting is preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics
- Passion for education and supporting student learning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)
- Additional subject-specific qualifications
Working Conditions:
The role involves working in a classroom setting within a secondary school in Balham, Greater London. Standard school hours apply, with additional time required for lesson planning, grading, and extracurricular activities.
