TP Tutors are searching for experienced Science Teachers on behalf of our partnership schools across Merseyside, starting September 2023.
The role:
- Working with students in KS4 cohorts, for GCSE science
- Deliver tuition to students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups of up to 6 pupils
- Plan and deliver tuition sessions
- Complete post session reports for each group
- Start September 2023, continuing until December 2023 (in first instance)
- 5-hours per day, payment ranging from £25 to £35 per hour (depending on group size)
- Part-time and full-time working options
Tutors must be proficient in the below:
- QTS in secondary education for science or Biology/Chemistry/Physics
- Experience of teaching Dual Award & Triple Sciences
- Recent teaching experience in KS3 & KS4

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
