TP Tutors are searching for experienced Science Teachers on behalf of our partnership schools across Merseyside, starting September 2023.

The role:

  • Working with students in KS4 cohorts, for GCSE science
  • Deliver tuition to students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups of up to 6 pupils
  • Plan and deliver tuition sessions
  • Complete post session reports for each group
  • Start September 2023, continuing until December 2023 (in first instance)
  • 5-hours per day, payment ranging from £25 to £35 per hour (depending on group size)
  • Part-time and full-time working options 

Tutors must be proficient in the below:

  • QTS in secondary education for science or Biology/Chemistry/Physics
  • Experience of teaching Dual Award & Triple Sciences
  • Recent teaching experience in KS3 & KS4

As a tutor, you will play a crucial role in the success of the National Tutoring Programme and the students you work with. If you are ready to make a positive impact on the lives of students, we want to hear from you!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
