Due to the continued partnership with many of the secondary schools in the Leigh borough, Teaching Personnel are seeking qualified secondary school teachers to work on a flexible basis. These roles are perfect for any qualified secondary school teacher who wishes to teach without the additional responsibility. Further they are an ideal opportunity to work in a variety of high performing schools with engaged pupils.
The main duty of these roles is to cover for absent teachers to deliver pre-set work in an engaging manner. This type of work is an excellent opportunity to become a regular cover option for a few schools providing continuity for both yourself and the pupils. As a supply teacher, you will be expected to uphold the standards of each school and maintain discipline within the classroom. Further, being able to deliver the work set in accordance to your teaching style is preferred as it will enhance the learning development of the pupils.
Teaching Personnel have strong relationships with many of the schools in the Leigh borough and can accommodate for those on public transport. However, having access to your own transport is advantageous as it will increase the number of schools you can get to at short notice.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
