Teaching Personnel are looking for a cover supervisor to work under the guidance of teachers and members of the Leadership Team at our client school. This role will start in September and will run throughout the academic year providing support across all year groups.

To apply for this position you must have experience supporting secondary aged students - Youth Work or Sports Coach experience would also be relevant. You must also have a C or above in GCSE English & Maths.

The successful cover supervisor will be required to supervise whole classes during the short term absence of the class teacher. This is a demanding role requiring excellent numeracy/literacy skills, excellent behaviour management and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and students.

The role involves including implementing work programmes, managing students behaviour and assisting students in relevant activities. The main focus of this role in to respond to any student queries in lessons, assist pupils in undertaking set activities and staying on task.
