Job Description – What Does a Cover Supervisor Do?

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects and age groups.

• Maintain classroom discipline in line with school policies.

• Support students to stay on task and engaged during lessons.

• Ensure a safe, positive learning environment.

• Work closely with teachers and school staff to support daily operations.

Note: You won’t need to plan lessons or mark work—the class teacher handles that!
