Secondary Maths Teacher

Location: Clapham

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £150 - £230 Per day

Job Description:

Job Duties:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging Maths lessons to secondary school students
  • Assess and evaluate student progress to provide constructive feedback
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching strategies
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Degree in Mathematics or a related field
  • Proven experience teaching Maths at the secondary level

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years teaching Maths at the secondary level

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the secondary Maths curriculum
  • Effective classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience with exam preparation and assessment

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time position with regular school hours
  • Classroom-based teaching with opportunities for professional development
  • Engagement in extracurricular activities and school events may be required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
