Maths Teacher
Job description
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a successful secondary school in Hounslow to appoint a Maths Teacher for a permanent position starting this academic year.
This is a school that has built a strong reputation for combining high expectations with excellent pastoral support. Student outcomes continue to improve year-on-year, and the Maths department plays a significant role within the school's wider improvement strategy.
The successful candidate will join a well-established team of subject specialists who work collaboratively to deliver an ambitious curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced applicants.
Leadership within the department is approachable, supportive and focused on reducing unnecessary workload wherever possible. Resources are shared centrally, planning is collaborative and teachers are encouraged to focus on delivering high-quality lessons rather than excessive administration.
The school is seeking a teacher who can inspire confidence in learners of all abilities, foster a positive classroom culture and help students develop both their mathematical understanding and problem-solving skills.

The Role
- Deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement

The Successful Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Ability to teach Maths across KS3 and KS4
- Passion for raising attainment and student achievement
- Strong classroom management skills
- Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
