The Role:
- Delivering personalised lesson plans to students on a 1:1, 2:1 or small group basis
- Following the national GCSE Curriculum, adapting lessons taking into consideration lower abilities and any additional needs
- Building positive relationships with students from disaffected home lives and possibly excluded from mainstream schools
- At the end of the session, you would be required to complete a feedback form, which details progress made during the session and the pupil's attitude

The School:
- An alternative learning provision that provides a range of different vocational and academic courses for students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Have a positive learning experience motto, with the aim to provide a positive learning experience in a safe and supportive environment, which enables their pupils to gain the skills and confidence to allow them to become more successful within education
- The School's Attainment 8 Average Score was 1.41 in 2016

The Candidate:
-
Should hold Qualified Teacher Status, or Overseas Equivalent
- Be able to provide a 6 year career history, with suitable education based references
- Have a proven track record of improving students attainment
- Hold a positive outlook when working with students excluded from maintream education

Additional Information:
- Pay Rates vary between £100 and £130 per day, dependant on if it is a long term position etc
- A range of CPD courses are available to you, to continue your self development, these courses include an insight into SEN (NASEN), Autism Awareness, Safeguarding and Team Teach
