Science Teacher required in Rochdale

Full time position as a Science Teacher in Rochdale, with interviews starting at the soonest convenience.

Our client school require a Science Teacher or Newly Qualified Teacher of Science to join the school with immediate effect and support the department while one for their staff is off absent during maternity. This position will be until at least the end of the year, with an opportunity of a permanent contract due to the expansion within the school. The role would involve full departmental responsibilities of planning and marking as well as the incoming Science Teacher required to attend meetings and parents evenings, with your pay reflecting this responsibility.

  • Full time vacancy for a Science Teacher or Newly Qualified Science Teacher
  • Paid in line with teaching scale point MPS/UPS (£23,720 - £39,406)
  • Working within a modern secondary school in Rochdale, graded 'Good' by Ofsted
  • Easily accessible by public transport as well as own vehicle
  • Covering a maternity, with the opportunity of a permanent contract

The school is a modern secondary school in Rochdale where every pupil is made to feel welcome in a supportive environment for both pupils and staff alike. The School was recently graded 'Good' by Ofsted in all areas and was heavily praised for the quality of the leadership team as well as behaviour around the school. The school continues to improve and require a strong Science Teacher or Newly Qualified Science Teacher to join the team on their journey to becoming an 'Outstanding' place for teaching and learning.
