Contract: Full-time
Pay Scale: M1 – UPS1 (paid in line with teaching scale)
Join the thriving Science Department of a large secondary school in Warrington, supporting pupils aged 11–16. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Science teacher to deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 3 and GCSE.
Role Overview
The successful Science Teacher will:
- Deliver a full timetable across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE)
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective Science lessons
- Differentiate teaching to meet a range of learning abilities
- Track pupil progress and report outcomes within the Science department
- Contribute positively to the wider school community with a proactive and professional approach
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Experience teaching Science up to GCSE level
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
Both experienced teachers and ECTs (Early Career Teachers) are encouraged to apply. Full induction, support, and ongoing professional development will be provided.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
