Pay Scale: M1 – UPS1 (paid in line with teaching scale)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Warrington. This role involves teaching pupils aged 11–16 and offers the chance to become part of a successful Science Department committed to delivering outstanding educational outcomes.
Role Overview
The successful Science Teacher will:
- Teach a full timetable across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE)
- Plan, deliver, and assess engaging and effective Science lessons
- Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of learners with varying abilities
- Monitor, track, and report on student progress
- Contribute positively to the wider school community and departmental development
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student achievement
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Science up to GCSE level
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for inspiring young people and promoting a love of Science
